Hey, just wanted to know everyones opinion about feeding Nightcrawlers to Bearded Dragons. I feed them to my frogs and was thinkin the Dragons might like them too but don't know if its something they should have or not. Any help would be great! ~Shell

We have fed red worms to the turtles, newts etc. but never to a dragon.

I have never heard of anyone feeding them to their Bearded Dragons. I'll see if I can find some research on it but nothing yet. I think they are fed mostly to torts, turts, frogs and toads.

I don't see how it would hurt, as long as they didn't get substrate of carpet fibers stuck to them. If a bearded dragon came across an exposed worm in the wild I doubt much hesitation would be done before the worm is finally consumed. The main concern I'd have would be the same one I'd have regardless of what's eating the worm, and that's "what has the worm been eating?". Bait shop nightcrawlers are not exactly "high grade" feeder worms. They're bait.
