Ok I want to give my 2 adult Leopard Geckos pinkies, but im not really sure how to go about it. Get live ones or get 2 small frozen ones? Will they tear and rip them, or will I have to hold them it and let them go at it one at a time? Never feed them pinkies before and was needing some insite

I have fed pinkies. I purchased the smallest pinkies I could get at a local petshop and the Leopard Geckos ate them "live" and "whole". They did crunch them up as they injested them, which killed the pinkie but also made a bit of a mess.

I've never done pinkies for my Leopard Geckos but I feed them live to my Bearded Dragon and he LOVES them.

Ok so I got 2 small pinkies, and well the male looked at it and licked, the female dont seem to care. They are still alive so im gonna try again tonight

I tried to feed my female leo a pinky once. She tried to eat it but only succeeded in injuring the poor little ears. I was traumatized as I brought the pinky back to the pet shop and begged them to feed the pinky to one of their baby corn snakes right away to put it out of it's misery which they did. Needless to say, I never tried that again.

My female enjoys a pinky every so often...she just kind of picks it up, chews it a couple of times and swallows it.

My male on the other hand gave me the "you are insane if you think I am going to eat that" look. (So my female ate two)

i used f/t pinkies and my female loved em but the male needed to be convinced I cut into it and put some gutz on his nose after he licked it off he took the pinkie
