How big is your Bearded Dragon? Superworms are ussually too big for a juvenile, but an adult Bearded Dragon can eat them easily. As for substitution you should never feed one item exclusively. You should always mix up the diet to prevent boredom and add nutrition that you cannot get from a single food item.

I think superworms are like potato chip, fun, tasty, filling and not a lot of nutritional value. They are best as a treat or reward.

she is almost two years old and she eats more veggies than bugs.so I should feed her more than one kind of bug?
she only eats them like 2-3 time a week, and a salad everyday.

Hello,
I am an echo.....lol. I too say you should mix it up a bit, but yes, they can be used as a staple. (Many people use JUST mealworms as a staple and supers are better than mealies. )

Hello,
Silkies would make an EXCELLENT staple for your dragon! If you get the chance, use them over everything.

You can feed your dragon superworms but you should never substitute one food for another as a staple item - the best diet is always a varied one; you should be feeding a mixture of insects and veg, what does your Bearded Dragon currently eat salad and insect wise?
