Hi,

So, today I´ve been seting up Coral´s home.

a) The material used:



-the rocks, branches and cork have all been boiled
- the substracte is of coco chips
- I´ve decided to start with plastic plants (just a few to keep an "arid look" - although the substracte doesn´t help...). May change to natural in the future, after the good tips you gave me (special thanks to BlackJack)

b) the terrarium:

d) The outcome, already in place


I´m not satisfied yet but... it´s a start.

Do you have any specific information on it? I have never seen a thermostat set up like that. Are you sure thats a thermostat? It looks to me to be some sort of submersible aquarium heater. If that is the case it is not suitable for an enclosure like that.
But the decor looks great. Just be sure to have a secure top. With that branch against the side the snake will have lots of leverage to try to open it.

I´m positive. It´s from ClimaSat and it´s a specific thermostat for terrariums. And the top is secured with 4 "lockers"

In the meanwhile, as soon as I put her in, Coral started to inspect her new home
