I have Jade plant in all three tanks (2 Leopard Geckos and a rough green snake). They are potted in organic garden soil, so no chemicals for them to get harmed by. The Jade doesn't need a lot of light, and does well even if you forget to water.

Actually the downfall of most cacti and succulents is people taking too good of care of them!

Then that sounds like the plant for me!!! No worries on that front!

When I get closer to being done - I'll go look for succulents and see if I can find something I like to add some splash to the tank. (Without having Kelly silicone each spike on my cactus plants)

I'm saved!! The store sold out of the pretty, yet spiky cactus plants! Now I'm not tempted....

And I found a beautiful collection of succulents at the local Lowes Store - Yeah!!!

I'll update pics soon. I'm coming along - taking LOTS of pics along the way. I think they will like it when I'm done!
