The people who sell these animals have got to know that they're never going to tame and that they're probably going to injure their new owners. It's pretty sick that they sell them anyway. But I guess nothing is as important as the almighty dollar to some people.

Sadly some of the people selling these animals have no more knowledge of them the the person they are trying to sell them to.
 It doesn't require any knowledge of care to sell something (look at some shops!). All it takes is the money in hand to purchase it from the wholesaler.

I guess you're right about that. It's just a little unfathomable to me that they wouldn't do *some* research on the animal's they are selling. For that matter, it blows my mind how many people don't do basic research on the animals they are buying. If people would take just a little time with it, neither the people nor the animals would have to suffer.
