To feed or not to feed?

This is what our member has to say: Today's Spectre's feeding day, but his eyes are starting to appear cloudy as of this afternoon. He can still see, I think...they're not totally cloudy ...

To feed or not to feed?

Today's Spectre's feeding day, but his eyes are starting to appear cloudy as of this afternoon. He can still see, I think...they're not totally cloudy yet. So should we go ahead and feed him or wait until after he's shed?

I can't believe he's going to shed again already! I don't think it was quite a month ago the last time....maybe about three to three and a half weeks. I forgot to write down the exact date... Are they supposed to shed twice in the same month?

I always still offer food to my snakes if their eyes are just starting to cloud. Do you use f/t, if so there is no danger to Spectre. If you are using live just keep a careful watch.
Sometimes they eat, sometimes they don't.

If it was me I would leave till after the shed, there is a possibility of regurge. some corns do manage to eat through a shed, a few of mine have, after the blue eyes phase, and I have not known they where in shed.

We use f/t....He doesn't seem overly hungry, like he usually does on feeding day. Instead of searching and moving around like crazy poking at the screen top like he usually does on feeding day, he's just lying curled up on his grapevine "tree" looking remarkably like a little python. Do you think that means he wouldn't eat if we offered it to him?

He would probably eat it, corns eat all the time, the reason I say I wouldnt feed during shed is that one of my corns Pixel is a snow corn and I can never tell properly when he is in shed, and I have fed him twice before during a shed and each time he regurged. but I am not saying that it is the same with all cornsnakes, its just experiences that I have encountered.

Blizzard and Bullet both eat even if they are in shed. haven't had them regurge at all at anytime *knock on wood hoping it doesn't happen ever* lol. although it can happen as the others have said.
