Question and some pics

this morning I found Fletcher around his water dish,i guess he was trying to cool down.it's been hot since last week 25-30c,and the snakes water gets warm fast.a guy at work suggested an ice cube in the water, can I put an ice cube in the water dish or is this a bad idea,i wasn't going to put in lots just one.

I put an ice cube on the scrren lid and let it melt into the water dish, this works like a herp air conditioning system. I wouldn't want my snake coming into direct contact with ice, they don't understand what it is and if tey stay near it too long they could become hypothermic.
