Jack update

I'm sorry I didn't post this sooner, but I was having computer access problems (*sigh*)....

Jack seems to be just fine! I checked him again yesterday evening, and I'll be darned if I can see any damage from the tape. He kept looking at me while I was checking him as if to say,"What is your problem?" He ate a fuzzy last night with his usual gusto, which relieves me so much because his lower jaw was pulled so tightly flat on the tape, and he kept struggling with it the entire two hours we were working with his body on the tape in the bowl of warm water trying to get him free (because of how and where he was stuck on the tape, there was no way to start with his head unfortunately). I was afraid he might have injured it, but since he ate well, I guess he didn't. I'm doing a really long really happy my snake's ok jig right now! HOORAY! Thank you all for your kind words and responses!

Hey, my iguana's name is Jack (Daniels). His previous owner named him whiskey.

I think Jack's a great name. My Jack's full name is Pumpkin Jack (from the movie "Nightmare Before Christmas")

So relieved!!

I'll join you in your "snakes OK jig"!!! I think eating is a really good sign he's OK.
I'm really happy that he didn't get seriously injured from that tape!!
I still feel a bit of responsibility: I have since taken out the tape I put around Monty's lamp cage. I just don't want to take any chances!
Thanks for the heads-up!!
