I think respiratory problem!!

Pixel has like swelling now and then showing under his chin, it like puffs out when he is breathing, I did notice something like this a few weeks before and was monitoring him and it seem to clear, now its come back but worse, before it was only one side of his chin now its full and when he breaths he makes jurky momements, he is still active and eating well, to try and help the situation I have changed his substrate to repti-carpet, as I think the wood chippings I use had to much dust in them, gave him a bowl he cannot get under as he was always so cold as he lay under there all the time, and I figured it would be dampish, and raised the temps slightly, I will be phoning the vets in the morning to see if I can bring him in to get checked over when I go to pick up the baby gecko,

Is there any other suggestion that could help him in the mean time, Thanks in advance for any info...

Donna sounds like an RI to me. Ids he wheezing when he breathes? Any bubbling or abundant mucous?
It sounds like you have all the bases covered. I would bring his heat up by 5 degrees over normal and make sure the humidity is not too high.

I have tried to listen for wheezing, but cant hear anything, he just seems to puff out under his chin and jerk, I will be keeping humidity down, he's never really has had high humidity so I dont understand why he would get this problem, I myself think its the substrate and will be changing them all over to something different, he is also preparing to shed, so I bet he is really uncomfortable, he is looking all over now for his other bowl bless him.

Well Pixels vet visit went well, he had an anti-biotic injection that lasts for 3 days, the vet said he was fine, and me raising his temps and stuff must of settled it down, I have to take him back on Thursday if his symptoms reappear... he was really good having the injection, he just looked around at the vet as if to say, Hey wadda ya doing
