Meet Sally, the pretty little normal corn snake hatchling we got at the same time we got Ky-Lin, our Children's Python. I bought Ky-Lin, and my husband said,"You know, we spent so long talking to the corn snake breeder, that I think you should buy one of those too"...

After I picked myself up off the floor from the dead faint I had fallen into at his unexpected suggestion, I thought, "Who am I to argue? He doesn't have to say it twice!" Especially since he's not really a snake enthusiast, and I wouldn't hold my breath for him to ever make the suggestion that I buy another snake (he doesn't mind them, he just doesn't crave them, and he admits to being jealous of the attention they get...do you think it would help if I gave him a pinkie too on the next feeding day? )

Anyway, I'm not totally happy with these pictures because the flash washed Sally out a bit, and her light areas look white, which they're not, and at the same time added a kind of yellow hue to her orange areas. But here she is. I'll try to get better ones after she's through digesting her meal from yesterday. She's harder to take pictures of than the python because she moves a lot faster. The python just kind of moves along slow and easy, and actually even sits still! Not so the corns!

I love the theme too, that movie is FANTASTIC! You should do their cage with a bunch of the collectables...Or just take a poster of Halloween Town and tape it to the back

There is the purple Halloween candy tub "house" in the 20 long tank. It's a plastic tub with a lid, and we cut a door in it. It has pumpkins and black cats all the way around it, which look neat. It must have "snake appeal" too because it's almost always occupied. But I would like to get something specifically "Nightmare Before Christmas" themed. One of these days I'll have it done up right, and I'll post pics.
