I picked up my first corn snake today!!! I am so excited, here are a couple of quick shots because I don't want to freak her out too much on the first day, but I have to say, she is so calm and easy to handle even after being bounced around, she hasn't pulled away from me at all

she's actually fairly long, I was hoping to get a hatchling but I am pleased with her...I am trying now to figure out how old she really is

Congratulations. Ageing snakes is usualy tough, best way would be to find out from where you got her who breed her, and they may know when she was born, hatchling corns seem notorious for being hard eater from what ive heard though, who knows, i hav'nt had one.

I am really pleased with her, she is so easy to handle, even when she is hiding in the aspen, when I dig around, she doesn't strike or jump or anything

Corns are pretty docile snakes. It has actually been suggested that they are the first truly "domestic" reptile. None of my corns have ever attempted to strike at me.
Though there was one Okeetee hatchling I handled that was a wholly terror and did its best imitation of a rattler on my hand.
Much to the entertainment of the folks in the pet shop.
