constricting

my corn snake doesn't constrict her prey. she eats frozen thawed but she ate live mice at the place I bought her from. she was born on may of 2006. she is probibly 4 feet maybe longer.

its just all the other snakes there constricted there prey and it just swallowd it alive cant the mice like bite at the snake when its in the belly?

They know when the prey is dead and will only swallow something like a pinky alive. The pinky can't hurt them.
