Indentify My Corn?

Hello, today I aquired a baby corn from Petco. I've kept snakes before, so I'm not new this. I am not exactly sure what type of corn this is.. Could someone please identify it for me?

Thanks,
Ryan

Re: Indentify My Corn?

Its beautiful. Looks kinda like an Amel to me (Amelanistic), meaning lacking black pigment

Umm, looks Amel. Not the best quality pics though. Try to get better ones.

Re: Indentify My Corn?

Alright, sorry about the picture quality. I will get some more when I see the corn out later on. Right now I think it is hiding in the bedding due to the stress.

Here are some details..

Pinkish-red skin with red markings and orange-ish diamond shapes.
Almost red eyes.
Not even close to the Albinos in color that were with him.
Thought he was beautiful, not like the normal corn either, which is nice aswell, but wanted something a bit different.

There really isn't much orange other than the diamonds in between each red spot.

He may be an amel reverse oketee but I can't make it out properly from the pics.

Lovely little snake though.

Re: Indentify My Corn?

You have an amelanistic (also sold as albino). There are morph variations within the amel group.

Re: Indentify My Corn?

Actually the term albino means lacking melanin (black). So any corn lacking melanin is technically an albino.
