Re: Indentify My Corn?
Okay, it's definatly an Amel. The guy at petco said it is a Red Albino?
Right now I cannot get any more pictures because I believe the snake is afraid of the new habitat and is hiding under something. Don't want to wake him up, want him to calm down a bit.
They told me at Petco to feed him Thursday. Is this too early?

Re: Indentify My Corn?
if you just brought him home I would wait at least a week to feed. Though corns are great eaters, if he is stressed at his new surroundings he could possibly regurgitate a meal this soon.

Re: Indentify My Corn?
And a red albino is just another name for an Amel.

Re: Indentify My Corn?
Okay, he's starting to move around more, so I guess he is getting more settled in. Should I wait a few more days before handling him?

Re: Indentify My Corn?
I don´t have much experience, but the general advise is to wait for her to settle, then feed her (as per her feeding schedule), then wait 2-3 days and after that - if all goes well - it would be ok to handle.

Re: Indentify My Corn?
I generally wait at least a week, then feed and 3 days later start handling. You want that mouse really digested well before you handle.
Regurgitated mouse is NASTY!
