Hi Jade, I would say the first one looks like a nice normal with some miami influence and the second one looks like a very pretty ghost corn! Awesome snakes either way.

There is just so much color variation in what is referred to as a "normal" corn that its hard to say. That is what has enabled breeders to produce the myriad of morphs that are available.
I would say they are both variations of the normal. However "normal' in no way means any less attractive.

Yeah I would agree - they are both "normals" but different variations. Very pretty they are!

I have asked this ? a few times too, the first pic looks like one of my corns, I named Red, whatever tho, they are gorgeous corns, I just love them all, i do like to collect colour morphs, but whatever I get suits me fine, I have a few diff colour morphs on my wishlist, Lavander first or ghost, whichever comes my direction first doesnt matter, it prolly wont even be one of them

Hypo (or hypomelanistic) means lack of the black pigment, such as in amelanistic corns, or snows. Our bearded dragons are hypos - they lack all black pigment,. a true indication of their hypo-ness being clear nails.
This corn has black around its saddles so it can't be a ghost. It just looks like a very light normal to me, while the other may have some miami influence as Dave suggested, but I would still go for two normals.

I've always thought that hypomelanistic was the reduction of the black pigment, not the total lack of it as in amelanism. All hypo snakes I have seen do have a small amount of melanin, less then the snake in the picture, which is why I said it almost looked hypo.
