Not Shedding

Dyna still hasn't shed the rest of her body.
I can tell she's not too comfy.

I don't know what to do for her. I've been misting twice a day.. she seems to be avoiding her moist hides... I don't know what else to do!!
Poor girl.. she's had a terrible two weeks! She ate today but I think I need to get her another pinkie this week because she barely has a bump where the pinkie was!

Any suggestions on how to help her shed?

Put a wet towel inside a pillowcase, put her inside the pillowcase, tie up the top of the pillowcase and put it in her enclosure, this should do the trick. Good luck!

Yeah Sav's idea seems to be the generally accepted way of helping ease a bad shed, be sure to leave the pillowcase long enough that she has time to get softened up and rub al lthe skin off. Leaving it over night should do it.

what the others said she will be fine if it doesn´t come off in the pillow case,Then hold a wet wash cloth in your hand and let her slither through it.

shed is still on her.
I did the wet wash cloth thing this morning too... no such help.
It seriously looks like it doesn't want to come off. Her skin and getting all wrinkled too and it feels so rough...
Do Ii repeat the procedure tonight, or do we have other suggestions?

How large is Dyna? you mention that you can barely see the bump from where she ate... rather then feeding mutiple pinks you may want to move up a size... let me know how long and wide she is...

That is the best way to aid a shed, though you could try damp crumpled paper rather that towels if you would like to give that a shot...

I've had success with soaking them in luke warm water. Put her in a shallow tupperware, with some holes..let her soak a bit then let her slither thru a washcloth..

As a last resort you could try rubbing her with a little mineral oil, thats what I use on stubborn iguana spikes.

thanks for all the ideas guys...

I tried everything.
I rubbed a damp towel on her and that helped some but there is still shed on her and especially on her underside.
Poor little Dyna..
