He's eating!
Checkers (the cornsnake formerly known as Lucky Louie) is eating his first f/t pinkie in his new home! He examined it a few times, then went right to work on it. I feel like such a successful mother! (He's a way better eater than my first human baby was, lol.) And I know to leave him alone for a couple of days afterwards (and we're basically leaving him alone anyway, since he just came home a couple of days ago).

Always a sigh of relief when they start eating. Good job MoM.
