    Corn Snake Help!!

    Hey guys,
This isn't about my snake this time. My friend's baby corn snake about 4 months old got itself stuck onto some masking tape! She pulled it off but a line of scales came off on the tape. Poor snake. Is there anything she should look out for or any special precautions she should take to prevent infection or anything like that?? I think the scales are from the side of the snake near the belly. I haven't seen the snake myself so I'm not sure how bad it is but she asked me to post this for her. Please help!
    Anna (:

Rest in peace Lola, K'nuckles and Preshuz. Always in my heart and never truly gone (:

    Re: Corn Snake Help!!

Okay, she told me it wasn't scales and the snake SEEMS fine for now, but skin did come off. As in the skin on top of the scales that snakes regularly shed. But the snake shed a couple weeks ago so this was definitely not skin that was ready to shed! ):

As long as he isn't bleeding he will be ok, as he sheds he will repair the damaged area

That's a relief. Thanks! She said the snake isn't bleeding and there are no signs of damaged scales so I think he will be fine!

Yes, me too! I had a look at him and he has a bit of rough skin where the tape was but he's fine (:
