That was the ONLY reason my inlaws didn't get a mac. They didn't like our one button mouses. I then explained to them if they held down the mouse or hit the control key while clicking, it did the same thing. Or they could even buy a 2 button mouse.

I explained to them the lack of viruses, which was the main complaint on their old PC. All they do on their computer is email, web and microsoft word.

At work I use a 2.8 ghz Toshiba laptop. With the infamously useless windows xp. I have 512 mb of ram. I must say Apple rules for OS. Microsoft will never get it right.

Nix owns mac for an os. The lack of viruses, cause no one cares, and they arent used a server like pcs are. If all they do is email then I have to say they arent very keen. Ive known people to use no protection on PCs and have not one bit of trouble, safe internet browsing is all it takes. Tell your inlaws dont waste their money on norton or macafee they suck and dont update, the free ones avast and avg are far better.

telling my inlaws to do anything on their computer is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. They had to have the Geek Squad come in to hook up their wireless router.

Well all hope is lost, good luck lol. Ive heard horror stories of them.....

They come with a picture disk and setup everything for you. If you have problems, dont call the company who made it. Call the ISP.

Nicole, the easiest way to unconfuse you is to simply state "I have a really nice setup". lol

I have a Dell. I have no idea other than that, lol. My mother bought herself a nice new laptop and I inherited this one from her! I is fairly basic, although it does have a nice flat monitor and I added a dvd/cd burner myself.

At work we use all HP computers. Again I am clueless as to any of the details, that is why we have an IT department. I just know where the power button is!
