Out of curiosity I would like to know what you pay in your area for a boa constrictor imperator.
I deffenitly want one in about 2-3 years.When I picked up my BP babies today I was allowed to hold some BCIs and they are sooo wonderful animals.I hear they are the kittens of the snakes,because they are so wonderfully calm and kind and very tame.
My breeder got some mixed ones and for a normal I would pay CHFr 500.- (about $ 700.-) and for an albino CHfr 1'500.- (about $ 2100.-).
I'm sure the Boa Constrictor Constrictor will be much more;they are very beautiful but a little bit too big for me .But the Imperators are similar in looks but a more managable size.The big ones also need rabbits and I don't want to go there;I prefer to stay with rats.

For a normal boa constrictor imperator here in the UK you are looking at £25-40 stirling....And for an albino about £600-750 stirling.....For a boa constrictor constrictor it is probably around £250 stirling....you guys pay loads

I know,isn't it crazy?! Switzerland is way too expensive in everything.For one BP I paid about £80 (about $142).
Oops,I just noticed that I calculated it the wrong way round .One $ is about 1.4 swiss francs,so that means Chfr 500 = $375 and Chfr 1500 = $ 1071.But it's still too much!

Wow. You did pay a lot. Around here a quality CB Ball Python ranges from $25-$100. The only thing I have found around here are males though. I am in search of a female normal BP.

For a boa constrictor imperator around here its about $75+ for a decent one.

yeah here in canada a BP is about $100 for a male and up to $150 for a female. although I only paid $100 for my female that I had. and a boa constrictor imperator is about $150 (all in canadian $$)
