My Columbian Red Tail

Well, I have been away for a while, but now that I have a little bit of time again, I thought that I would share some of my latest additions. I got this little guy/girl from the place that I get most of my live feeders. Was an interesting acquisition as I traded a group of Bearded Dragons that a buddy of mine dropped on me for her. The store probably made out better on the trade, but I am not set up to handle 15 Bearded Dragon hatchlings. She is roughly 20" long and eating great for me. I have moved her/him from eating live mice to eating frozen rats (slightly furry pinks).

So, with out further adieu...here is my Red Tail...Red (for now till I know the sex)

Hi PCar,

Nice to see you on again! We are getting a Red Tail Boa on Saturday from a girl from NH. It is about 6' long. Can't wait!

Boas do seems to crave attention, at least mine does! If you let yours just crawl off your arm and back into the cage it's easier to get him to go back in, otherwise they hate to go home as they get bigger....that's what I have found out anyhow.
You're gonna love having a boa!

yea, I have always wanted a boa, but never really had the room for one. Come to think of it, I still don't have the room for one, but I will make sure that I have the room as this one grows. Will probably be looking for a male in the next 2 years in hopes of breeding them.
