i recently got a new baby boa the guy that sold him to us had him clasified as a centrail american boa. i have looked and looked but cant find anything about a "centrail american boa is there a nother name that this kind goes by someone help me out here please lol. thanks

Anyone here at HC have one of these? I don't know anything about them, but the picture on that web page shows a beautiful snake...

Central american boa is another name for the boa constrictor, usually the common boa. However, there are many many subspecies of the boa constrictor that have other names. Examples:

Boa constrictor amarali: bolivian/brazilian boa
Boa constrictor constrictor: red-tailed boa
Boa constrictor imperator: common/hogg island boa
Boa constrictor longicauda: long-tailed/tumbes boa
Boa constrictor occidentalis: argentine boa

The Centralpets link says the one in its pic is a B.c. imperator, or the common boa. Chances are that's what your boa is as well.
