Re: Boa Life Span
20-30 years. I do seem to remember reading somewhere that 40 was a possibility

Re: Boa Life Span
Thanks guys. Would you say that a 15 yo Boa is not likely to grow anymore? I have someone wanting to give up his 15 yo, 8' Boa because he's worried if it gets any bigger it will eat his cats! He's had the snake since a baby. Some people really get my hackles up. I think it's just another lame excuse to get rid of a pet they've lost interest in.

Re: Boa Life Span
The growth will be slower but boas continue to grow for as long as they live.

Re: Boa Life Span
I thought length-wise they maxed out at about 10 or 12 feet. God knows I am no expert so don't go by me.

Re: Boa Life Span
They do continue to grow as Merlin said, but it's so small that you shouldn't know the difference. I'd be surprised if the snake made it to 10' by the time he dies.

Re: Boa Life Span
