Well, I know that some of you guys have been wondering what's been going on with Jasmine, my female boa.

Until now, there had been no change, and no signs of her getting closer to giving birth.

I looked in on her at about 2 am this morning, and i noticed she looked a little different. So I gave her an hour, went back, and she looked normal.

I came in at about 20 minutes ago, and here's what I saw:

Yeah, I didn't want to stress them or momma out, so I only took one.
I'm actually stuck at the momement, as I was going to get their temporary home today, as I didnt think they would already be here. So I have to wait until Matt gets home from school to do anything with them. I'm worried that by that time, Jasmime will have started to get ****y. Right now she's worn out, and actually as I'm typing this, she's trying to push something else out. I don't think its more babies, I think it's slugs.

poor thing is still straining to push something out
im so happy!!
the last baby that we can see just popped it head out of its sack!!!!! woo hoo, they all look viable, at least at this point.
so far there are 5 babies and 3 slugs.

well i don't think she has many left, if at all
she was really small to begin with, so we knew we wouldn't get many.
but she's still pushing, so who knows. I'm just thankful that all the babies look full term. I won't know really how they are doing until we get them out.
I'm pretty sure we can sex them this early, but is it safe??
And when should we try to feed Jasmine? Tomorrow?
