Housing Males Together???
So I was wondering if it is safe to house to male colombian boas together?
They are both about the same size. Just planning for the future.

Re: Housing Males Together???
Most people will recommend against housing boas together regardless of sex or size. But whether or not it's actually unsafe, or just something that's not a good idea I'm not sure. I do know they're still best kept separate.

Re: Housing Males Together???
housing two or more snakes also makes it harder to monitor which one is pooping and if (god forbid) one snake gets sick or parasites then it can easily transfer to a cage mate. they also may not get along with each other.
i tried to put my two corns together at one point, they did not like it at all. so I just leave them separate.

Re: Housing Males Together???
Two males, particularly in the area of a female, may spar and wrestle for dominance and breeding rights.
I would advise to keep them seperate.
