Has anybody ever had a snake sort of change color?? I've noticed over the last couple weeks a yellowish tinge on my boa. I looked on the internet and didn't really find anything that related. I'm not so much worried, just curious. I've heard of snakes brightening in the gray area and maybe the red in the tails getting brighter but all the grey now has yellow. I'll post pics soon, but she just ate so I'm going to wait... thanks!

I've noticed color changes in all 5 of my boas, but to be honest it was over months, not weeks that the change occured. Not to mention the color was minimal. I basically didn't notice it until I looked at previous photos and became curious. My Peruvian seems to darken with age, while the Suriname lightens and gets more pink undertones.

what was the state of your snake to begin with? if they are dehydrated they can be very dark. a quick lightening can be a result of rehydration and becoming more healthy. otherwise I havent seen a snake change color quickly like this.

it wasnt dark before it was always a lovely gray but ive noticed a yellow tone to it now. its not so much that its lighter just all together different
