How much have you heard it cost to treat this, The only clinic in my city said it cost likr 70 to check him and the another 80 or so for the medicine for a URI. I just wanted to see if this was average because you have to pay on spot at this place and 150 is alot more than I expected,my friend who breed boas,ball,water monitors and retics, dominionreptiles.com. said it only cost him around 60 dollars to get his breeder boas treated for a respitory.

It really depends on the vet (what they charge) and the type of meds they place your boa on. You can always get a quote from another vet to compare.

I guess im just going to look around on the internet and see if it`s worth the drive to one if they tell me it`ll be cheaper. They vet assistant also mentioned if he`s been dewormed, iI tolder her I believe so because of him bein 2 and a half or 3 that he`d been dewormed recently but I can`t make contact with the breeder I got him from.

I pay 50.00 to walk in the door and about 15 to 25 for the meds. Your price does seem a little bit spendy, I would check around also for a different reptile vet.

I`ve been trying everywhere in my county, No luck... Im gonna give it another day of searching and looking into other cities. I know that shands in Gainsville has a vet that is proablly the best out there and its only a 30 minute drive,I just gotta check the price because the othe place..all pets clinic in ocala FL is on my way home from work.
