aspen,newpaper,paper towel's,i just found out not to use heating pad's alone..so I left the heating pad under the tank in the basking spot and I used a heat lamp I mist 3 times a day big dog bowl,and a hollowed log ..also this isnt a must but I have a UV light on top...

so I still havent gotten all the answers that I need, but thanks to all that have replied so far.

if anyone else has the answers to my questions, or any helpful info, it will be greatly appreciated.

I believe that there will be a shed shortly before tehbirth but I may be mistaken. I will let the more experienced breeders grab that one.
Not Likely. Immediately afterwards she may be a bit grumpy and protective of the babies but that will pass.
The dam of mine is used in programs with young children and she has had several litters.

She definately looks like she has a lump down there!
One thing. I would get the tank away from that window. Direct sunlight falling on a glass tank can cause it to quickly over heat and kill the inhabitant

its not direct sunlight, that was a reflection. i just wish that I knew when the P.O.S. was. The people at the pet store weren't watching her that closely I guess, because they missed it. They said that the last time she was contained with a male was about a month or so, so who knows.
Would you recomment an under the tank heater as well as a hight wattage bulb? I want to make sure that I gt the right tempurature as well as humidity.

It will al depend on what the temps in the tank are. A heating pad would be nice to have but only if the entire environment is warm enough
