Is he or isn't he?

I was wondering how to tell if a red tail boa is Anery or some other morph? When we got our boy Kenai we were told he is het for albino and his coloring is alot differnt than Shenzy our girl. He is much lighter in color has less black speckles and his tail is more brownish than red. As you can tell I dont know much about morphs and would like to.

Hello,

You should post a picture and let users decide based on what they can "see".

Are you 100% certain that the snake is het for albino? Thats tough to prove from appearance. (Its impossible to prove from appearance.) The only way to prove the het trait is to breed the snake. If you breed the snake against another het, you should get 100% guaranteed het albino babies BUT you should also get some that are born albino! If none are born albino, then 1 or both are not true hets.

We know for sure our female is not het but the person we got our male from said he bought him from a breeder who told him the the snake is 100% het for albino. I'll try to get some good pics of him and see what people think. How do I add pics to a post with out making it an attachment?

I couldn't agree more!!! But instead of bikering let them make some sweet love and find out the fun way! then you could post some pics of the babies and well see if they are het. albino.. The only way you could tell a snake is het. albino is if it is albino am I wrong (might be not 100% sure).

You can post pics when you send a post, its in the attached files. Its the button that says Manage Attachments. Then click on browse and look for your pics, double click. Then click upload and your done. Hope it helps!

Here is a pic of my baby's (had to make sure I wasn't givin wrong directions)!
