His name fits him. Both pale and black and a somewhat snarky attitude. He tagged me when I got him at the reptile show. When he fed last night (hooray! though it took three tries because he kept trying to swallow the hopper at the shoulder instead of the head), he kept snapping at my husband after he got put back in his cage from the feeding tub. Operation Start Taming Down Severus starts tomorrow after he starts to get done digesting. He hopefully will get there as he's supposed to be my educational talk snake on endotherms versus ectotherms as well as simple recessive genetics for my biology lab I teach.
