I love the way the markings on her skin line up with the line of coloration in her eye (horizontal) and with her pupil (vertical)!!

Joe she's gorgeous! Awesome pictures too,do you have an suggestions on what macro lens to get for my rebel, I have the kit lens and a telephoto and its not cutting it for me.

Yes she is a boa constrictor imperator it is the colour morph that makes her look the way she does Our should that be lack of colour

Canon do a great macro lense but there are also a few others, I'll PM you some links, but those photos were taken with the standard lense that comes with the camera, I also have the rebel. The shot settings were:
ISO: 400
Aperture: 11
Shutter Speed: 200th of a second
Flash was on
White Balnce was set manually.

Hope this helps

Going to get a macro lens and macro flash when money permits

Thanks..the kit lens works fine with the larger herps, but I have some new frogs that are TINY and i've been having to use my sony because the Rebel doesnt let me get in close enough.
