The betadine and neo. should be enough, just keep an eye out for infection. It dosnt look like its bad enough to bandage up but if you feel the need to one way to keep some gauze padding on it is to cut the end off a condom and slip it around his body...tho he may not be fat enough for this Ive used this method before and it works well!

It looks like he had some problems of stuck sheds there before that finally came off with this shed.
Don't worry about it too much. Snakes can heal amazingly well. With each good shed, the damaged skin will repair itself.
You probably don't need to do anything more with it now. Just remove any stool/urates from the tank as soon as you find it and keep the drinking water fresh.
PS -- you said you put tape over the hide box: be careful with tape inside a terrarium. It has a tendency to get stuck on reptiles! We've had a few bad "taped up snake" episodes here already. I use sandpaper or a Dremel tool to smooth off any rough edges on things going into the terrarium.
