My 10 month old daughter was sitting on the floor, and she was intently watching the snake. I was keeping the snake out of her reach. She adamantly protested, when my husband asked who would be more surprised the snake or the baby? Figuring she would promptly stuff the snake in her mouth if given half a chance! I would never allow such a thing, of course, for both their sake. The visual alone was hysterical though, a fat little baby with a snake hanging out of her mouth! My mother would just die!

I keep saying I need a snake to keep my mother in law away.

My mother in law insists that the snake cage be moved to the basement every time she comes to visit! Wish she would just not visit, my snake has a better personality then her anyway! LOL

My snakes were in the living room and they were there because its my house and thats where I wanted them.
Tell your MIL to go sit in the basement!
