Re: XM radio

man, i WISH I had XM. It would make my 45-1 hour commute every day so much more tolerable. Plus then I could listen to all the NHL action I want.

Re: XM radio

I'm on my 4th year of XM. Best source of talk on radio. Typically surf around shows like Fox and friends, G Gordon Liddy, Laura Ingram, Hannity, Dave Ramsey, Bruce Williams, Gary Sullivan, Ron Williams, Cigar Dave Show, Gun Talk.

That and I listen to Wings games but it's too early in the season to go out of my way for one.

Re: XM radio

I want it for the LACK of talk. I need a wide variety of music and no commercials would be great.

Re: XM radio

Not all stations are commercial free....think the music is mostly free of that, some talk not alot like other crap. The reason I got XM was for the TALK.....Best radio show ever on there. Opie and Anthony!

LINGER LONGER!

But ya, usualy on the music channels aswell as the virus.

Re: XM radio

I have Sirius satellite radio. Have had it for a few years and love it. I hate listening to regular radio anymore. I believe that the government (FCC?) has approved the merger between XM and Sirius so they will be one soon.

Opie and Anthony used to be on regular radio in Philadelphia. I think they got fired recently.

I have to admit that I am a Howard Stern fan and he is on Sirius. He can get a littel raunchy sometimes so I just switch stations then but usually I think is show is hilarious.

Re: XM radio

yah the merger is a go. O and A are probably still there localy on a cbs show, they are in howards old studio.

Dont get me started on howard, he is well lets say an idiot. I dislike him in everyway shape or form. Lets not forget that he has been the creator of everything. Well he says he has. But he is rivals of o and a. so me hating him is granted, but hated him before that lol

Re: XM radio

I have been listening to Howard since 1984 when he was on NY's WNBC. He can be horribly irritating and raunchy at times but for the most park I think his show is funny. If he is being too raunchy I just change the channel.

O and A got fired from Philly. Not sure why. I know they got fired once before because of a couple doing nasty things in a church and they aired it and egged the people on.

I never liked O and A, I guess we all have our preferences!
