Those work really well, and they aren't horribly expensive. You can even get a battery operated pump to blow it up fairly inexpensively, or there's always the good old foot-powered bellows pumps, which are even cheaper and have the added benefit of giving you a workout.

Re: Moving Advice

I'll stick with the electric powered pumps. Mine plugs into an outlet!
I have pumped too many of those up by hand!
In a tent,...
in August,...
When it was 100+ degrees!

Me too...but it was also 3 am! (our mattress had a slow leak so every two or three hours we'd find ourselves hitting bottom and have to pump it up again) Using a bellows pump in that situation is enough to make you bellow

Re: Moving Advice

The bedroom is so empty, it just has a pile of blankets in it. I'm going to ask for a day off so we can go shopping together and buy some furniture. It's been such a pain because our agendas only overlap for about 2 hours a night every couple of nights, weekends excluded. and every other night we're rock climbing.
Slowly but surely we're getting there, we're going to try to move the bearded dragon tomorrow.
