UGH! I'm about to go work my 3rd shift in a row. This will be # 3 of 5. its weeks like this I wish I worked 8 hour days instead of 12. And yesterday turned into a 14 hour day.... = ( I'm gonna be one tired puppy by Friday...

traffic sucked. there was an accident every mile in. I think its been so long since its rained, people forgot how to drive.

No kidding. For some reason whenever it rains, people go nuts, panic, and end up smashing their little SUVs into each other. (Sorry to anyone who owns one here. I'm sure you are responsible drivers. But I hate those cars, mainly because 85% of accidents around here involve someone in an SUV thinking they're indestructible and that they always have the right-of-way, and end up smashing into another car.)
To add to that, a large stretch of 29 was being worked on (not that it needed it, but they're always tearing up roads at this time of year to use up the funds) which reduced it from two lanes to one. Even though any sane person only drives in one lane, inevitably I get behind a guy who is too afraid to do more than 15 on a 60 mph road because the lane next to him has cones on it. I can see slowing down a little, just in case, but 15? I was so angry.

We don't have problems with a specific type of car, it's just anything with California plates...they don't understand what black ice is until they hit it.
I hate winter driving, I could drive all day in snow and ice if I had to, as long as I didn't have some idiot in a Hummer next to me watching 'Finding Nemo' while talking on the phone and eating an egg mcmuffin.

Liz, maybe they think because they paid a lot for their car that everyone else should automatically get out of their way.

Bwahahaha! Yep. Stupid cell phones should be banned from all cars everywhere!
Although we don't see that many hummers out here. I'm surprised. This is more Lexus SUV country. Oh and Mustangs. Good grief. Was a Ford dealership giving them away for free or something? Every day going to work I see a thousand proud owners in their 2006 yellow striped mustangs, roaring down the road as if they were the most unique thing ever. Makes me want to smash them. I don't know why, but the mustang is one of the most annoying cars to me - ever. Right up there next to the PT Cruiser, which is another car I think someone is giving away for free. They're everywhere!
