I feel even better now. My coworker treated me to a chicken salad sandwich.

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Hehe. I just found this on craigslist.
Title: 40 gal. Reptile tank withstand
"Tank is in very good condition includes heat lamp, locking screen top, cave, sticks and 30" cornsnake."
It took me a moment to see that snake. It looks thrown in there, like they were hoping someone would take it not knowing about the corn snake.
*shrug* It was funny to me.

The weather people were calling for torrential downpours and high winds. We got neither as bad as they were making it seem. If it is regular rain they play. I don't care if the football team gets muddy, I am a band mom, so I am more concerned with the $1200 saxophone getting wet!

Heck guys... at least half your state isn't on fire! It's about 83 and sunny here... too far north for the fires though (thank goodness).

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Grrrrr.... I did it again.
I went to Walmart for something (because it was after nine, and they were the only store open) and what did I come away with but a fountain for Don Iguan's cage!
*Hits head on desk*
I'm always doing that. Oh he'll LOVE that new fake plant - I should get him that food dish, it's much nicer than the one he's got. I'm a sucker.
The worst thing is that I'm probably just annoying him by adding things to his home, and it's all temporary until I get the new cage built anyway.
Still, for some reason when I go to a store and see something that would be great for any reptile, I seem to have no impulse control.
(On the plus side, even though he was tired and blearily annoyed at me for putting it in his cage right away, he investigated it and seems to be accepting it.)
