Just some more thinking out loud.............
Today was an interesting day! My sucker sign definately went off today. I took in a russian tort I named him Joey, he seems pretty underweight and dehydrated. He actually did well with his soak, and to my surprise ate like a pig!! I did turn down an african sideneck with shell rot, and a baby veiled chameleon. I just got done with shell rot on two sliders and am not prepared for another case! I really feel kind of bad but I cannot save the world. I did give them the number to Turtle Tom who will sometimes take them, just depends on if he has room. So hopefully that turns out ok! Baby dragon has a toe that is GIGANTIC or in the words of my seven year old son GINORMOUS, lol. I have no idea what happened with that so it looks like another vet visit. She actually whipped me tonight, the ungrateful Snob

Oscar is still eating like a hog!
Ziggy is real cranky and thinks he is very studly, I happen to disagree though, lol. I think Grizzly is in a depression, so ungrateful..........
My green meanies are hitting the adolescent stage, well kind of, if I do not find homes for them soon I will have my hand full come next year when they are a year and a half to two years old. As this seems to be the stage where they are at their peak for being a bunch of abnoxious adolescents, lol.
I have someone who volunteers for me, but man is he an abnoxious moron that thinks he knows it all! I hate that! He proceeded to tell me today when I got Joey in that he needs no uv at all because they hide in the grass. He has never even seen a russian tort before but now he is the expert. Frustrating!!!
The help is great but the frustration is not woth it! He moved Baby Dragons Uvb light to within 6 inches of her today without asking, he stated that the closer it was the better off she was

It is a Mega Ray 160 watt light, so naturally I had a COW! I told him he ia a volunteer and has no right to change anything without talking to me first. He could have hurt her badly as she will not get up and move, she is very ill, uggggggghhhhhhh. Then he questioned my knowledge, which is ok, so I hooked him up on the computer into bobs site. Then he started questioning his knowledge

I explained as kind as I possibly could that I had a very in depth conversation with Bob about Baby Dragon when she first came in, he was also kind enough to talk to me about Grizzly and the rest that were here. Oh wait also kind enough to talk about Oscar 2 weeks ago and point me to some very knowledgable articles on his site about sulcatas. I explained that he was a very knowledgeable man and when he was willing to talk for over an hour on the phone I SHUT UP and listen! LOL Well besides asking him "how do you spell that ", lol as I was taking notes. It took me 5 days to look up everything he said and actually decipher what he was meaning and have it registar in my brain

When I finally figured it all out I came to the conclusion that he is a very wise man especially in the ways of iguanas! When he talks I listen! Still after all this explanation he still questions his intelligence
Why do some people have to be know it alls? It makes me crazy! There is nothintg wrong with not knowing and asking for help! Well thats my opinion anyway. In the world of reptiles I feel you can never know it all! There is always something to learn! I am thinking of asking him not to return, When he is here he makes more work for me than actually doing any good
Oh well off that soap box now before I give myself a heart attack! Wheres my Cheetos
