Kelly, I know we aren't that far from you. Our electric this past month was $200! I just about fainted. Our grass is pretty crunchy too. Surprisingly, my hydrangeas which almost died last year, are doing pretty good. Not too many flowers, but the leaves haven't wilted.

It's been triple digits here too... Friday was 103, Saturday was 104, then Sunday *BAM* low 80s. It's actually COLD tonight!!! Weird!

Yeah, he's a mess. They have him in a coma because he's still not stable for surgery. He broke his arm in a couple spots, broke his femur, pelvis, and damaged some organs as well as many other things.
The drunk driver who swerved into his lane on the highway hit him head on and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Went hiking...and got a 'little' stuck. Thankfully I brought 3 strong men with me to remedy the problem.
Once we got unstuck it was totally worth it...
