Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Well I know that I have not posted lately but I just thought I would fill you all in on some wonderful news about my family. To make a long story short, I was one of 11 kids and back in 1967 we were all taken from our mother and placed up for adoption. I am now pushing 45 and after all of these years we have been slowly but surley finding each other. Well I finally got to meet my oldest sister and my older brother over the 4th of July weekend! I can't tell you all how it felt to finally see my brother and sister after 40 years. They were the last two that had not been located until now. So we are hoping for a reunion of all of us sometime this year. I got to go to where I was born witch was Brownsville Ten, in Haywood county and I got to see my fathers grave. My father died in 1967, I was only 5 years old. The story of his death has always been just that, a story but now it real and I have all of it in black and white. This is truely a blessing and I now know where all of us are and we are all doing great. 8 girls and 3 boys. Wow what a big family! We are all truely blessed.

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
There are SOOOO many squirrels that live in or come to my yard it is ridiculous! My neighbor has a huge oak tree that over hangs our back fence. Thousands upon thousands of acorns drop from this tree and some years are worse than others. This tree is the main attraction for the squirrels. I feed the birds and the squirrels eat the all the seed, they have eaten through all of my trash cans, the dig up my bulbs, and they used to get into my attic. They actually chewed through a metal vent to get into the attic. They are little monsters, but very smart!
My daughter called me to tell me that she wanted to let the squirrel out of the trap. I told her not to go near it, I am sure that she would have been bitten before she figured out how to open it up.

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Wow to a HUGE Family Debbie! That is awesome....I know when I go somewhere with all my kids (there are 7 of them), it looks like a clown car when they just keep coming out of the vehicle ....LOL....
On another note, I just got hired as a volunteer babysitter for our local community center and in return I get a free family membership...the kids no longer have to whine about being bored!!! Yay!!!

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Debbie, thats great you can have a family again.
Kelly, drive those squirrels FAR FAR FAR away! We had a squirrel problem in our old house. One trap later and 6 caught squirrels life was much better. My attic thanked me.

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
We don't have squirrels here...just marmots. They are alot cuter, but probably more destructive.
that's amazing that you found all of your siblings debbie! hopefully you get to spend many more happy years together to make up for the time you lost growing up!
Oh yeah...new with me...we had a *little* storm....it was awesome.
