it is a beautiful state! That is the reason I live here, and the fact that it usually does not get AFRICAN hot! Well at least on my side of the mountains, Lacey is not so lucky in that aspect, lol

Well just some more thinking out loud,

i hope today is a better day than yesterday! I can definately say looking back it was kind of funny, but the back of my head really hurts and I ahve a HUGE bruise on my shoulderblade, from hitting the house!

It definately gave me the respect for the power of water!! I am so glad the kids were not there with me as they usually are that could have been very bad!

Amongst all that I still managed to get all my enclosures cleaned and all cleaned up in the house.

Here is another reason for the tidal wave, we have or should I say HAD a leak in the water pipes under my house that was about 6 feet away from the pond so as the ground got soggy and the pond tried to settle, there were not enough braces to support the weight of the water which is somewhere around 24,000 pounds

I guess this will teach me to buy a repo home, ughhhh

Oh well hopefully today is peaceful, if not my head just might spin and pop off

I have been in the office, cleaning the office all day. I swear there is stuff from 2002 in here. I don't think anyone every bothers to put anything away or throw anything out. 5 trips to the recycling are on the loading dock plus several more to the dumpsters.

Nicole: I love the heat over here. From what I hear 104 degrees here is alot more tollerable than even 90 over there due to the humidity.
We get hot, but it's a dry heat. It was 102 today and I went out and took pictures of a softball game.

I used to think I hated washington, but everytime I leave I get super homesick for the trees and the mountains.

North Dakota is the most painful state i've ever visited.....so flat and no evergreens!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting book 7 of the Harry Potter series? I love these books. I know they are really meant for kids but I just love them! I can't believe this will be the last book. I have it preordered from Amazon and they guarantee it will be on my doorstep Saturday! When the last one came out two years ago they did the same delivery guarantee and it came when promised. I immediately sat down and read the ENTIRE book that weekend! I haven't seem the new movie yet, I will probably go to see it next weekend with Katie. I heard it was pretty good. I enjoy the movies but when you have read the books you know how much detail gets left out in the movie. But they are still enjoyable.
