Turns out I hardly give a rip about their plans.
They are all nice people but their idea of a going away party is meeting up around 10pm and drinking in one of the girls mothers empty trailers at the trailer park...
Not exactly my style...unfortunately they moved their plans to tomorrow so we both have to attend, atleast for a little while, although neither of us care to.

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
So there I was minding my own business this morning eating my breakfast on the floor because I have a house full of kids and their friends eating at the table. I am fighting with Oscar that the toast is mine, he is ramming me and trying to climb up me to get my toast. He finally stops, I think hah! Victory is mine, I have won another toddler fit He decided to settle in beside me, sat there about two minutes and let off this HUGE passing of gas, looks at me and then walks slowly away I thought I was going to suffocate!! EEWWWW!!!! Now what I want to know is how smart are these animals really. It looked like he did it on purpose, lol. When he sets his mind on something that you have he is like a relentless toddler, follows you around and rams you! It usually happens to me, the kids think it is hilarious and egg him on! The only time it is not funny is when he wanders in my youngest sons room and rams this giant elephant stuffed animal that stands freely in the corner, but ram moms leg and its hilarious! Fight mom for her food and it is really funny! Kids UGHHHH!!
On another note Baby Dragon is eating a little better and really hates me now since I have to give her shots again! I am still just FURIOUS about the whole situation! I am wondering am I just a perfectionist and am demanding too much from the people who want these animals? My hubby tends to think so. I told him I by no means am perfect but geez, more burns on her that is just un called for! Who knows maybe I am just plain ol mean like he said. He thinks I should give him another chance I say BLAH! He did not even offer to pay her new vet bills that I acquired because of his stupidity. He just wants her back, fat chance!
Okay I feel better now, lol. I should go check on the progress of my new pond. It was much easier to build a new one then re set up the old one, and besides I made it much deeper, YEAH! But now I have this GIANT pile of rock on the side of my house from the other pond, yikes!

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
so as I was out picking up the new iguana yesterday, which took about 45 minutes I come back to find two small children in my backyard (that are not my own) They climbed my 6 foot fence that is padlocked and were messing with oscar who was minding his own business grazing on all the hideous dandelions out there in the backyard, needless to say he was not impressed with them. The one was poking him with a stick a five year old little boy and a 7 year old little girl. Needless to say I was quite angry, lectured them on how rude it was just to think they can hop the fence and poke him with a stick and how do they know he doesnt bite, etc!
I took them both home, (two different houses) The one with the 5 year old boy was upset at him and the one with the 8 year old girl just made excuses that she was curious and did nothing to reprimand the child about going into someones locked backyard without asking. I asked him if it would be curiousity if he caught my kids in his backyard without permission poking his pomeranians with a stick. Oscar now has a scratch on the side of his face that was bleeding and is now scabbed up from them I simply told him keep your kids out of my backyard when I am not home, you will be responsible for any vet bills accrued because of your child and her actions. Which in all reality if he would have bit her I would have been responsible for her missing finger,,,,,,,grrrrr.....
Any suggestions?

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Razorwire and an electric fence?
Tell them that they are lucky the alligator didn't get them this time?
Put up 'No Tresspassing" signs?
Poke the pomeranians?
Personally i'd be beyond p*ssed and I wouldn't mind upseting the new neighbors...but since you want to probably keep them on good terms i'd invite the kids and their parents over so you can educate them about how to properly treat the animals.
If they end up in your yard again i'd try for stiffer punishment...even if that means having to have a cop talk to them about what happens to tresspassers.

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
I do have the no trespassing signs and the signs that state Be Aware I Live Here! with pictures of giant snakes and lizards all over the house, where anyone driving by can see them. I guess I need to get the one that has the giant tortoise on it. lol
As far as making the new neighbors mad I could care less, when it comes to Oscar. This is actually the second time it happened. The first time was the same little girl opened my gate and let him out , I come home to find a huge crowd in my front lawn, including the dad, I was furious! She admitted to opening the gate I explained that he would die if he wandered off and that it was not okay to go back there without permission and if she wanted to see him that all she had to do was knock and ask. Hence the padlock came into play and now they just climb the fence. I totally got the kids curiousity the first time, but the second time is not okay! I think the parenting needs to be a little better! However I am going to seriously think about the razorwire, I wonder if there are any laws that will be a problem?
I might try poking the pomeranians though

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
I would definitelly call the cops next time. That is rediculous and I would be beyond ****ed. Tell them you will charge them with tresspassing and animal cruelty.
