Yes, it was a life or death decision. Trust me, we didn't want to do it. Years of peeing crystals scarred up his little ureter, causing a stricture that kept getting clogged. It finally closed totally up one day, and he couldn't pee without a catheter. It was either remove the damage section, or he wouldn't make it.

I had two kittens who used to sleep with my girls when they were in the living room. I have a picture in my gallery of them somewhere, lol. They also have slept with Grizzly when he was out, but Grizzly is special and probably thinks he was just another kitten, poor special baby, lol.
