Well we had a little bit of excitement this weekend. Our 4th started off with a bang.
LITERALLY! Thursday night we were having a nice quiet evening when we heard a loud crash. my first thought was that someone had ran into the back of our vehicles sitting in the driveway. Looked out and didn't see anything,... until I realized that there were head lights in my neighbors back yard! Then I heard the sound of an engine racing and tires smoking. This drunken idiot had ran his pick up off of the road, oversteered and came sliding thru my driveway sideways, barely missing our cars and ran thru the neighbor's fence taking out the corner of her house! He had gotten the truck high centered and couldn't get out but was giving it one heck of a try! He several times attempted to exit the vehicle but was too drunk to even stand up. Fortunately only property was damaged. The powers that be were surely watching over all that night!
