oh, I dont think so, lol. I would be arrested right after they hit me with one, lol. They would look awfully funny in the ER explaining how their sign got stuck in some not so nice places, lol.

I have never understood those people, I do rescue myself, and have for years, but I dont think physical psycho violence really teaches the world anything about you or your orginazation,, except that you are a nut!

*RAISES HAND HIGH* And that's with me being a woman...but I can still look the part of someone who might not take a swing very lightly...

PETA and close in their steps these days is the HSUS are a bunch of crack pots. I've been in the rescue game for some time, too...but the stunts that are pulled "in the name of animal welfare" is over the top outrageous.

And PETA is VERY selective in the animals they choose to protect.

I remember when Fear Factor had an episode where contestants had to transfer snakes from one tank to another (I think with their mouths, but I didn't actually see that one). Many had their spines snapped or were killed or maimed from the biting, not to mention being thrown into a tub with a couple of hundred snakes may have stressed some of the to death. I remember people saying that they took bags of dead snakes and just dumped them in the trash after the show.

Did PETA say one thing about any of those deaths? No. But if the show had killed dozens of dogs, cats or rabbits, they would have had fits.

That angers me a lot.

Posting the Tuesday nite whine: I was promoted to a new position that started this week. Still same line of work, property management, but have gone from 90 homes to roughly 340 units...mixture of apartments and homes. The "whine" part comes in where they haven't replaced my position yet...so I am running into my property at 8am, getting things going there, and then running across town to spend the rest of the day learning those new sites. It has been 12 hour days so far...ugh! Hopefully it will not have to last long at this pace.....I miss working on my cage. Thus endeth the "whine".
