I wish I had some to send!

I am babysitting my 2 year old great-nephew this weekend. I am praying for nice weather so we can take him to the zoo or something. My house is no longer child proof so it is best if we can get out and do something.

camel spiders

My nephew was telling us about these large spiders called camel spiders that live in Iraq. He said that they are very large. THe crazy thing is they don't like the heat and sun better than the humans. If one comes near you it tries to stay in your shade. If you try to walk away from them they follow you to stay in your shade, if you run so do they

I heard the camel spiders are harmless, though.

There was this picture circulating the internet for awhile, trying to make like they were HUGE, when it was actually a picture of two of them together. I thought that was pretty funny.

I saw that picture in an email. It made the spider look like the size of a cat.

Matt didn't say that anyone was bit or anything, it was just the fact that they chase you around to stay in the shade your body creates. It gives me the creeps just thinking about it!

The following you around isn't so bad.
It's when they jump on your back and climb inside your shirt that it gets interesting!

There is nothing interesting about that unless watching me run around screaming like a HUGE sissy girl is interesting The thought is making me all clammy feeling and I am starting to feel quezzy! I definately want to get over my fear of spiders, but phew.......I think I need to start small, you know like the daddy long leg small
