Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Man I wish it would snow here. We really need it. Instead, we just had two days in the 70s, and we're looking at another warm weekend.
We're going to be overrun by bugs and germs and have no water this year!

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
We just came out of a record breaking warm spell last weekend as well.
Went out tooling around on the lake on Kathy's dad's pontoon boat Sunday!
I am supposed to have my grandson here this weekend and had planned to take him to the zoo.
So of course it goes back to being winter!

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Another 4 inches today....that means another 4 that I have to move. Ugh.
Agree or Disagree
Drivers should be required to pass a driving test in the snow before getting their license.
(I'm dreading my drive to work)

Lacey - Agree. Definitely.
Also they need a separate test for rain, and for stupidity.

THAT would definately solve a lot of the traffic problems.
Naw they'd just drive without licenses!

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
I agree... if it snows where you live. I also think that ALL drivers should have to ride on a motorcycle (in town and on the highway) and in a semi-truck.
Perhaps then they'd have more respect for the little (and the big) guy.

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Its not always the fault of the other driver though... I have seen both motorcyclists and truck drivers do some stupid s***. I drive for a living, I drive big metal death traps (box ambulance). The sad thing is that most of these ambulances aren't crash tested for the box area(usually the part I am in when we have a patient...) So knowing this I tend to try to be more aware of my surroundings and the other vehicles on the road. It is amazing how stupid people can be. And sometimes those people on the bikes or trucks just make things worse. I will give some drivers their due. I have seen some amazing saves made by truck drivers and those that pay attention to what is going on deserve credit for being great drivers.
