My SIL is insisting on an Easter Egg hunt when we go to her house for dinner. The youngest kid there will be my nephew Christopher who is 9. Then there is my daughter Kate who is 12 and Chris' sister Claudia who is 10!! The kids don't want to have and it is no fun hunting eggs when it is so cold out!

LOL How about the Kids go hide the eggs and the insistent SIL goes outside and hunts them while everybody else stays inside where its warm and watches out the window!
Yeah I know I'm evil!

Ooh good idea Merlin!

So it was REALLY nice out yesterday. I went on a drive with a friend and when the road dead ended into a river/mountain side we took off walking. After 2 hours of hiking straight up we made it to the top of the hill and a nice boring clear cut with a sub-par view...

Then we decided to take a 'short cut' down. Once we were thoroughly lost we decided to each close our eyes and point the direction we thought we needed to go (as to be fair) I pointed left, he pointed right, He decided he trusted my sense of direction a bit more then his own so despite having no idea where I was I got us back to the car is like 30 minutes.

All that hiking and there wasn't even a breath taking view! So much for a grand finale to our hike...

Hey Lacey at least it was nice enough to get out! We've had a high of a balmy 40 degrees with wind out of the north at 20mph! A couple of days ago I was in shorts and tanktop and now I have to wear leathers again!
Anyways we had the grandkids (ages 8 and 3) over for easter.
Any idea what it sounds like when you accidently pour out a bag of candy eggs on a hardwood floor?

Some more thinking out loud!

What an exhausting day! Did the whole easter bunny thing with the kids phew....... I am tired but it was a blast! Man they are rotten little heathens but I would not have it any other way

Cleaned tons of enclosures today, seemed to be a terd fest at my house today, lol. Meanies are looking overly fat, whats new

Wing bit the **** out of me today, so he must be feeling lots better lol. at least this time it was on the pinky instead of the back of the upper arm, lol. He got me reaching into his enclosure to take him out and feed. It will take him a while to get used to the fact that food is not dropped in his enclosure. He also does not like f/t rats so he was force fed, that was lot of fun, not!
Cleopatra struck at me today too, but did not connect real well with skin just the gloves, I should have wore them with Wing, lol. He is now associating me with Shots and does not like me anymore At least he does feel better though. Not a mite in sight today!! Yeah!

grandma bought the girls hamsters for Easter which really upset me quite a bit as I feel that it is rude to give a gift that requires care without talking to the person ahead of time! Of course the girls just loved them! My 10 year old will probably have no problems taking care of it for all of about two weeks until the novelty wears off. My 5 year old well I guess that would be my job to clean and take care of. Very annoying! If she would have talked to me first I would have told her NO. GRRRRRRRRR.

well I am soooooooo tired that I should go to bed because Oscar will be up early. Oh little Joey has so much personality I just love it! He is absolutely hilarious! Eats like a little monster which is great! He has not gained any weight though since he has been here a few whopping days. He is so small that I imagine it takes a little bit to gain an ounce, lol

Hmm well mothers day is coming up...drop a few iguanas on grandma's porch with cute little bows around their necks and see if she gets the point about animals as gifts...

as an extra kicker attach a note with the prices for all of the care and upkeep a living present takes!

Zola says hello everyone!
