Re: The Internets Longest Thread
I mean I appreciate that they are covering their tails from the standpoint that I wouldn't want them to just print off my pictures for anyone to use, but really they are jerks and you are right the quality sucks, and they don't know what they are doing.
I asked what color profile they print in and they said they just press "print".
Not exactly comforting!
And yeah I believe that you get what you pay for so I just use a more expensive printer and pass the costs on to my customers, but I wouldn't dare give them something cheap from walmart, it makes me look bad.

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
well I won't go to walmart then, although they now make ties from photos and it looks SUPER FUNNY. I could put my avatar of Sam on it.
I have had photos uploaded and printed at Walgreens and they look pretty darn snazzy. But Walgreens IS Walmart, which is why I was guessing they would do the same quality.

Re: The Internets Longest Thread
Ughhh!! Here we go again this year,, we are having a huge wind storm and the gusts are up to 85 mph here,, there are power outages everywhere, I am assuming we are next. We have lost power a few times but luckily it comes back on. I already here tons of sirens as trees are starting to fall,, hopefully this year noone will be hurt. They say this is just the beginning.
So lacey, how are you faring on the other side of the mountains?

Fairly warm (45 degrees)
Raining cats and dogs.
Sustained Winds of 20mph, gusts in the 40's...all of the trees are now bare, but we've still go our power, snow is forecasted for later this week.
'tis the season.

It feels like winter is come upon us here as well. Yesterday it was 75 We have already reached todays high (62) and are going downhill! Wind is howling out of the north at about 25mph with gusts up to 40! Should be down in the low 30's tonight with freeze warnings tomorrow.
Good news is its supposed to be back up in the 70s by the weekend
